The Culturally Inclusive Educator Workshop
This workshop will focus on how educators can meet the needs of an ever-growing multicultural population in order to create a welcoming, inclusive, and exciting classroom environment for all students. Through a combination of activities, Dr. Samuels will lead the group through a discussion of necessary preparation to overcome personal and institutional challenges to cultural inclusiveness (stereotype threats, microaggressions, colorblindness/identity-blindness, and implicit bias).
