*Virtual* A Zoom link will be provided to registrants after registration.
Welcome to a gathering space to name, understand, and respond to the deeper ethical and emotional tensions that arise when our commitment to students collides with structural and systemic barriers.
In this workshop, we will explore:
Part 1 – The “What”
We will define moral injury in education and distinguish it from burnout and compassion fatigue. Moral injury is rooted in ethical dissonance when educators know what students need yet are constrained from acting in alignment with their values.
Part 2 – The “So What”
We will examine how moral injury shows up in educational settings and the impact it has on educators, school culture, and our collective sense of purpose.
Part 3 – The “Now What”
We will explore pathways toward healing, agency, and hope both individually and within our institutions. grounded in reflection, connection, and practical strategies.
This session is reflective, affirming, and grounded in the belief that naming our experiences is a vital step toward restoring meaning and possibility in our work.
